Regardless of the type of equipment you choose to organize your multi-media equipment, you will need consider the measurements of the various pieces of equipment you want to store on the cart as well as the dimensions of the area you have available to store the cart itself. Another thing to consider is how easy it will be to move the audio visual cart or utility cart from room to room in your office. Will you have to move other furniture out of the way if you want to move it? Or, will you only be using the equipment in a single room? If so, perhaps you want to look at a fixed base unit. Do you need the security of having a locking cabinet on board? Gone are the days of having to settle for the standard small three shelf AV cart.
